Abstrakt: | Abstract: The present article is complementary to the se-ries of books Příběh československé psycholo-gie I., II., III. (to be published in 2021) in which the story of post-war Czech and Slovak psychol-ogy is mapped based on narrating of doyens of domestic psychology. In comparison, in the present article, the history is described with the support of numerous historical data and facts which may help the reader to comprehend the historical context and create the image about numerous challenges which domestic psychol-ogy faced in the past decades, especially in the communist era. The research is based on con-temporary published material but predominantly on archival sources deposited in the archives of Charles University in Prague, Masaryk Univer-sity in Brno, Palacký university in Olomouc, in the archive of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, in the National Archive and in personal archives of eminent Czechoslovak psy-chologists (Jiří Hoskovec, Jan Doležal, Robert Konečný, Olga Kolaříková). |
