Abstract: Three species of the respective group within the genus Icteranthidium Michener, 1948 are here recognized as valid, i.e. I.fedtschenkoi (Morawitz, 1875), I.transcaspicum (Lebedev, 1923) - both wide-spread predominantly in semi-desert lowland regions of Middle Asia - and I. reinigi (Alfken, 1931) (=Anthidium fedtschenkoi tadzhicum Popov, 1935, confirmed synonymy) exclusively confined to higher elevations of some Middle Asiatic mountains. Lectotype of Anthidium fedtschenkoi, paratypes of A. reinigi and holotype of A. fedtschenkoi tadzhicum were studied. The newly ascertained differential specific features of these three species are tabulated and their main diagnostic characters are figured, most of them for the first time. |
