Abstrakt:	Abstract: Larvae of Austrophorella quadrisignata (Saunders, 1872) and Pseudotaenia gigas (Hope, 1846) are fully described and illustrated. Diagnostic characters of both genera and their bionomy are discussed, and a comparative table of the character states of larvae of chalcophorine genera from the Australian region and beyond are given.
