Abstract: In the years 1962 to 2000 were examined 189 owls of 8 species (Asio otus 87, Strix aluco 40, Tyto alba 27, Bubo bubo 22, Athene noctua 6, Asio flammea 4, Otus scops 2, Strix uralensis 1). Were found 8 species of trematodes (Echinostoma revolutum (Froehlich, 1802), Echinoparyphium recurvatum (Linstow, 1873), Brachyelecithum strigis (Yamaguti, 1939), Brachylaime fuscatus (Rudolphi, 1819), Leucochloridium perturbatum Pojmanska, 1969, Strigea falconis Szidat, 1928, S. strigis (Shrank, 1788), Neodiplostomum canaliculatum (Nicoll, 1914). First time in the Europe found Brachylecithum strigis, first time in the Czech Republic found Neodiplostomum canaliculatum. New hosts found for Echinostoma revolutum - Bubo bubo and Strix aluco, for Echinoparyphium recurvatum - Strix aluco, fro Brachylaime fuscatus and Leucochloridium perturbatum - Asio otus. |
