Abstrakt:	Abstract: The aim of this study is to present the photographic archives in the ASCR fonds, to describe the extent of damage to these archives during the floods in 2002, to assess the rescue work after the floods and the subsequent restoration of the damaged photographs. Collaboration between archivists and restorers is of importance to optimize the specialist care of photographic material, the protection of archive material in future and the selection of relevant procedures for their storage and presentation to researchers.
