Abstract: The author affirms the necessity of paying special attention to Czech Latin-written literature. There are several reasons for special study of this topic, e.g. its neglect when compared with the knowledge of Czech-written literature; another reason for separate study of Czech Latin-written literature is its quantity, the third one concerns the chronology of Latin-written works which undoubtedly differs from the periodization of Czech-written literature. The article is engaged in other aspects of the problem as well: the contents and subject of the branch, the questions of genres of of theoretical and aesthetic methods. |
