Abstrakt:	Abstract: The report focuses on problems related to flower collections and difficulties of a different kind, which appeared recently in the Průhonice park. The text is based on press conference information disseminated on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Milan Blažek, the botanical garden director, and interview with him. The author also questioned František Krahulec, the director of the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and studied the archive materials about the Průhonice estate.
