Abstrakt: | Abstract: The case study describes the analysis of deaths in the catholic parish of Detva in the central Slovakia in the years 1781-1920. The research was established on the analysis church registers of burials. Researched population lived in the town of Detva, while the majority of it occupied on the surrounding solitudes (lazy). Almost the entire population consisted from Catholics (98 %) and similarly dominant position of ethnicity had Slovaks (97 %). The aim of the study is to make a summary of development of births and the results to compare with another region of Austria-Hungary Empire. |
