| Abstrakt: | Abstract: The authors discuss the relation of Croataon culture and literary circles in the 19th century to Václav Hanka and his work. In the analysis of this relations Hanka´s contacts with the leading people of the Croatian national revival, echoes ot Hanka´s work in the Croatian literary journals and Croatian reception of the Manuscript of Dvůr Králové and Manuscript of Zelená Hora as well as echoes of dispute over the authenticity of these manuscripts in Croatian literary periodicals are considered. The conclusion is that Hanka was one of the most important reprezentatives of Croatian-Czech literary and cultural relations in the 19th century, primarily as a finder, editor and promoter of the Manuscripts. |
