Abstrakt:	Abstract: The oldest Czech words from the 13th century include among others a legal term potejdych (derived from the Middle German banteiding ,judicial proceedingë); it leaves totally later. It is used as an equivalent of the Middle Latin iudicium maius. We define it as an iudicial power for judging of the hard crimes heard at the appointed day.
