| Abstrakt: | Abstract: In the Upper Silesia at the end of the 13th century the special system of government in which duke visited particular places of his duchy was changed into residential system. Then the dukes ruled particular duchies started to rebuild old castellans´ castles into their own residence or build new ones. These castles were usually built close to towns so the close relations between castle and town were developed. |
