Abstrakt: | It's not just Jim Bakker selling a virus killer in a bottle. Thousands of sales pitches, aimed at a fearful U.S. populace, are offering good news about the novel coronavirus. On websites, over the phone, and in email, the pitchmen are advertising a remedy of one kind or another: some are based on herbs, some on "heat technology," some on salt particles, others on silver, one on special toothpaste.
