BioKansas is hosting the 2019 Kansas BioGENEius Challenge Finals on Thursday, April 25th, at the KU Edwards Campus. Biotechnology is the utilization of biological processes to develop technologies and products that improve lives and the health of the planet. The BioGENEius Challenge is the premier high school research competition for students involved in this type of research. Previous students recognized at the Kansas BioGENEius Challenge have gone on to win the International BioGENEius Competitions, started their own companies, attended top research universities and won national research competitions.
