Oasys Water, a world leader committed to developing innovative solutions for transforming industrial wastewater into valuable freshwater resources, today announced that the company is actively deploying three new industrial wastewater treatment projects in China and is expanding its Asian operational infrastructure to support growth in the region. These new projects include a massive commercial project at Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Company Limited, the world’s largest coal-to-olefin (CTO) project to date. Oasys and its Chinese partner, Beijing Woteer Water Technology Co., Ltd. (Woteer), were selected to provide a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) water treatment plant for process effluent streams at the $3.1 billion coal-based methanol petrochemical plant under construction near Ordos, located in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
