The Babcock & Wilcox Company (NYSE: BWC) (“B&W” or the “Company”) today reported first quarter 2015 revenues of $730.6 million, an increase of $68.5 million, or 10.4%, from the first quarter of 2014, while GAAP earnings per share increased $0.01 per share to $0.42 for the first quarter of 2015 compared to $0.41 in the prior year period. Adjusted (Non-GAAP) earnings per share, which excludes the impact of spin-related and restructuring costs for the quarter, were $0.47 for the three months ended March 31, 2015 compared to $0.42 in the first quarter of 2014.
