| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the use of the Inter Partes Review (IPR) and Post Grant Review of Covered Business Methods (CBM) trial proceedings against patent assertion companies in the U.S. It is inferred that IPR and CBM trial proceedings were introduced at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) under the America Invents Act (AIA) efective September 16, 2012. The trends in the IPR/CBM petition filings between 2012 and 2014 are analyed. |
