The article reports on the implementation of the employer-mandate provision of the U.S. Affordable Care Act (ACA) effective on January 1, 2014. Topics discussed include the announcement of the U.S. Treasury Department on July 2, 2013 regarding the delay of the employer mandate until 2015, the health-benefits coverage which must be employed by large employers, and the monthly and look-back monthly methods established by ACA for the consistency of the calculation method. |
