Abstrakt: The article discusses the need for parents to help their children save for college as to national education crisis the average debt of American graduates amounting to 24,000 dollars. According to Nevada State Treasurer Kate Marshall, they are helping kindergarten students open 50-dollar college savings accounts through the Nevada College Kick Start, the grant from Charles Schwab and federal grants. It also notes the 529 Plan, the State Global Advisors (SSgA) and the Putnam 529 Plan.
