The article discusses the connection between U.S. high school graduation rates and the economy. The Alliance for Excellent Education underscores the economic importance of improving high school graduation rates which is at 75 percent. It elaborates on the likely impact of such initiative on Montana's economy wherein an estimated 19.6 million dollars would have been generated as crime-related savings and additional revenue if a five percent increase in male high school graduation rate was made. |
