The article offers information on the Vaisakhi Day celebrations to be held across British Columbia in the month of April 2012. Over 2500 participants including 20 community organizations are expected to participate in the Vaisakhi Parade (VP) in Surrey which is considered to be the largest VP outside of India. A free Vaisakhi luncheon has also been organized by the Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business Association at the Abbotsford Banquet Hall in Abbotsford on April 12. |
