The article features the Morning Owl Farm which is named after a mother owl by Mary Rohlfing in Boise, Idaho. Rohlfing is a tenured professor at Boise State who owned 8 acres of land in Northeast Boise Foothills and who made a radical change in her career. She raised ducks along with organic produce who is popular for her duck eggs and organic vegetables. Rohlfing also said that her concerns are less for her own farming future than for the next generation of idealistic young farmers. |
