The article focuses on Oregon's Higher Education Restructuring bill, the education reform legislation which was signed into law by Governor John Kitzhaber. It presents the views of Duncan Wyse, president of the Oregon Business Council, on the success of the business community in bringing education reforms in the state. It discusses the role of business leaders and communities in supporting and shaping the education reform and funding, as well as showing their concerns towards higher education. |
