Abstrakt: The article describes the need for top managers in companies to respond to indications of the possibility that certain employees are victims of domestic violence. It is pointed out that this situation could lead to low morale in the victim and co-workers, as well as workplace violence. Other effects include lost productivity, absenteeism, turnover and medical claims. Suggested responses include referring the victim to an assistance team and provision of confidential counseling.
