The article reports on the conflict between Syrian and Egyptian media relative to the policies on Middle East peace. It states that the Egyptian newspaper "Al Ahram" urged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to remove its relationship with Iran and change Syria's behavior in the Middle East. It mentions that Waddah Abed Rabbo wrote an article in Syrian newspaper "Al-Watan" wherein he accused that Cairo does not have a leading role in the Middle East. |
