The article discusses the results of a survey conducted by U.S. consulting and accounting firm Deloitte LLP on the trends related to back-to-school shopping in July 2010. The survey found that 58 per cent of the respondents like to change the way they shop because of economic issues. It also found that customers are more likely to focus on purchasing sale items and using more buyers coupons. Views of John Holub of the New Jersey Retail Merchants Association and Elaine Michaelsen of Becker's School Supplies on the issue are provided. |
