The article reports on the partnership between Burlington, Vermont and the Emergent Media Center (EMC) at Champlain College in developing a three-dimensional digital model of the city's downtown and waterfront buildings to be published on GoogleEarth. The three-dimensional model will be an important tool for planning, developmental review and environmental assessment that could improve tourism and economic development. |
