The article reports on the investigation by officials in New Zealand over the association of Auckland-based SP Trading Ltd. to a plane filled with weapons that came from North Korea and has been detained in Bangkok, Thailand in December 2009. The five-member crew of the plane operated by the carrier Air West Ltd. note that they did not know the presence of the weapons onboard. It mentions that the detention of the weapons shipment stands to be the first under the June 2009 rules of United Nations Security Council. |
