Abstrakt: The article reports that Chicago, Illinois-based Groupon Inc. has amassed 2 million subscribers to its Web site and begun adding big brands such as Zipcar, the National Basketball Association and Blockbuster to its stable of local businesses. Groupon e-mails a daily deal per city offering, for example, a restaurant gift certificate, a health and beauty service or entertainment offer at typically 50% off face value.
