The article reports on the relocation of Getac Inc.'s office from Lake Forest to Irvine, California. It states that Getac Inc. added 10,000 square feet of office space for a total of 28,000 in its move to Irvine where it has 50 workers. It notes that Getac's parent company is Getac Technology Corp. in Taiwan which changed its name from Mitac Technology Corp. According to chief executive Jim Rimay, the company might have moved to Washington D.C. but found Irvine to have great technical talents. |
