The article reports on the release of the guidelines for people to follow to prevent the spread of infection by the Department of Health of Dutchess County, New York. Physician Michael C. Caldwell notes an increase in influenza activity that is caused by the H1N1 flu virus. The guidelines include washing hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based sanitizer, keeping the hands away from the eyes, nose and mouth, and avoid close contact with sick people. |
