The article reports on the increasing rate of unemployment for construction workers particularly carpenters in Spokane County, Washington. According to industry observers, the increasing unemployment rate for these workers was the result of the decrease of expected construction projects. Kate McCaslin, president of the Inland Pacific Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors, workers are facing the reality of unemployment nationwide. |
