UNH report sees CAFE standard boon for region.

Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study by Carbon Solutions Inc. New England which finds that New England could get an economic benefit of $10 billion under the new motor vehicle fuel economy standard of President Barack Obama. The study noted that the new Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standard could reduce the use of 10 billion gallons of fuel and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 88 million tons. Cameron Wake of Carbon Solutions said that money will be realised as drivers save money on fuel.
