The article reports on the top rank grabbed by Vizio Inc. for the most popular type of flat televisions (TV) in the first quarter of 2009 in Orange County, California. The DisplaySeach Inc., a unit of market researchers NPD Group Inc. in Austin, Texas, reveals that Vizio gained back its position in the liquid crystal display TV market. It is noted that the company has increased its market share to 19% from 13% in the 2008 fourth quarter due to the high first quarter sales. |
