The article reports on the close rivalry of Yahoo and Google for widening their market power in the U.S. Google backed off for an Internet advertising with Microsoft Corp. to keep off a challenge from the Justice Department. According to Thomas Barnett, an assistant attorney general, the deal would actually traversed the consumers' benefits thus, Yahoo feels more pressure to regenerate the agreement with Microsoft Corp. |
