Abstrakt: The article presents research on the association of early peanut consumption to allergy in New York. Study reveals that the children who avoided peanut in infancy and early childhood were 10 times as likely to develop peanut allergy than those who are exposed to the plant. It contradicts the government's health recommendations that infants and new mothers should avoid peanuts to prevent food allergy development. This suggests that early peanut consumption may prevent allergy.
