Abstrakt: The article reports on the delays and confusion faced by U.S. voters who have decided to cast their vote ahead of the November 4, 2008 election. Election workers in Arlington, Virginia arrived at work on October 30, 2008 to find a line with a 90 minute wait while in Miami, residents waited up to four hours. Center for the Study of American Electorate director Curtis Gans said that the people standing in long lines and waiting for hours implies that this is a high-motivation election and that the 2008 elections will surpass the 60.6% turn out in 2004.
