The article reports on the plans of T-Mobile USA to sell its first Google-based smart phone. The phones, which are powered by Google Inc.'s new mobile software called Android, will be facing off with the iPhones of Apple Inc. and the Blackberry of Research In Motion. The device, dubbed as the Dream, will be manufactured by HTC Corp. which predicts sales at a level higher than some analysts' estimates. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has granted permission for the HTC Dream, making it possible for T-Mobile to market it. |
