Abstrakt: The article focuses on the impact of increasing regulations and weak economy on small businesses in New Jersey. According to Hometown Office Supplies and Printing Co. owner Earl Hall, the orders coming in are smaller. The company has gone into promotional high gear to combat declining revenues. Meanwhile, Joe Kelly sold Jay-Kay Wines and Liquors because of the negative climate for small business. Kelly admits that profits have been going down because of state regulations.
