Abstrakt: The article focuses on the importance of child care and maternal health for Northern Plains and Rocky Mountain region Indian tribes in Montana. There have been reports of suffering infant health in the regions due to the unstable environment of the mother. As a result, the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System and Pregnancy Nutrition Surveillance System are conducting research on nutritional status of infants and their mothers to improve their health. Some of infant characteristics and maternal risk factors are also cited.
