The article discusses the 2007 Farm Bill which governs the U.S. agriculture policy for five years. The bill features several new programs and additional funding to the existing programs that will benefit farmers in Hudson Valley between New York and New Jersey. Among its aspects include the increased funding for marketing and research of specialty crops, conservation programs and changes to the Milk Income Loss Contract (MILC) program. |
