The article offers information on the financial performance of Irvine, California-based chipmaker, Broadcom Corp. as of April 2008. It is reported that Broadcom's shares dropped by about 20% in the past 1 year with a market value of about $13 billion. However, the company reported strong 2008 first-quarter results which led to the rebound of its stocks in the past month. It saw $74 million in profits, up 22% from 2007. |
