The article discusses the move among environmental advocates to join the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms. CSAs or subscription farms commercialize their farm products by asking consumers to become a member of the farm and pay in advance for a season's worth of farm products. CSAs share the risks of production through selling farm shares or memberships in advance of the harvest. Moreover, CSA members have also the advantage of getting the freshest possible produce. |
