Abstrakt: The article discusses data from the Citizens for Tax Justice in Washington, D.C. concerning household incomes. It notes that 5.4% of New Jersey households make more than $200,000, while 200,000 families is twice below the federal poverty line. The author implies that this shows that New Jersey has 2 groups that are the highly educated and prosperous and those who are not. He suggests to rethink the idea that favoring the first group would bring prosperity, as the data shows otherwise.
