The article profiles Maura Donahue, chairwoman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She started to serve as member of the board of directors of the St.Tammany West Chamber of Commerce in 1994. In 1998, she took over the U.S. Chamber as chairwoman to increase the size and diversity of the board. Furthermore, it is claimed that Donahue understood the small-business mindset, in which she was instrumental in engaging the U.S. Chamber to serve small companies by lobbying the Congress. |
