Abstrakt: The article discusses a court case wherein Elizabeth McNabb has been denied share in Jell-O fortune, by New York's Court of Appeals. It is said that the million-dollar business was owned by McNabb's mother Barbara Woodward Piel. Piel's grandfather bought the Jell-O trademark from inventor Pearle Bixby in 1899. A county surrogate judge decided that McNabb was not a descendant or child of Piel under the terms of the trust.
