Abstrakt: The focuses on the optimism of some engineering firms about their business in New Jersey despite a slowdown in growth. The firms believe that demand for engineering services in the state are driven by strict environmental regulations and continued investments in transportation and telecommunications infrastructure. One such company is Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, which posted revenues of about $115 million and grew by around 13 percent in 2007.
