The article focuses on an increase in the bundling of political donations and bundlers in the United States in 2007. While the practice, which is legal and has raised at least $109 million for the U.S. presidential candidates in the first nine months of their 2008 campaign, analysts have become concerned with the increase in its use as they feel that is has evolved into a method for disguising illegal donations. The bundling practices of the 2008 presidential candidates are discussed. |
