The article reports that Michael Mukaskey has started out as a reporter in Newark, New Jersey rather than seeking a career in the law. Mukaskey was able to obtain his law degree from Yale which helped him with his nomination to become the next attorney general of the U.S. According to Alex Michelini, his former press boss, he was a terrific reporter. He was then a summer replacement but he was urged to offer Mukaskey a full-time job because he was a quick learner. |
