Abstrakt: The article reports that the Sunni political faction Iraqi Consensus Front has resigned from the cabinet of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki. The faction resigned on August 1, 2007. The Sunni faction's withdrawal from the Iraqi cabinet is likely to weaken the Shiites-led government's credentials as a coalition government. Meanwhile, in a series of bombings in Baghdad, Iraq, 76 people were killed.
