The article reports on the arrest of 32 Westchester County, New York business owners charged of workers' compensation fraud. The employers were accused of incorrectly affirming in affidavits submitted to the Workers' Compensation Board that they have no employee. The owners violated the New York State law on securing workers' compensation insurance to cover workers injured on the job. The arrest followed an investigation which found the unvailability of insurance of 84 employees. |
